Presentation on the work of the Task Force (25 minutes) Members of the Task Force.
Break out into Small Groups. (45 minutes) PREWORK:Attendees should read and consider documentation provided on this ERIC Website.
We will break into small groups to discuss issues raised by the Task Force and to provide feedback that will inform the group’s work. Please consider and present comments on these questions:
- Based on your reading of the Cataloging Policy Committee’s reports on the single versus separate record issue, how would you evaluate each option?
- A phased approach beginning with e-resources that are currently SFX-enabled includes e-journals and e-books. Please identify those e-resources that would be your next priorities for integration into the catalog.
Return to Large Group (45 minutes) Small groups will report on issues raised by their discussions.
Wrap-up. Betty Day, Task Force Co-chair.
